Pirates deny Crewe goalkeeper link

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates have denied that they have signed English League One Crewe Alexandra goalkeeper Ben Garratt.

According to Soccer Laduma, the 20-year-old was listed on the Buccaneers Wikipedia page.

Pirates Administrative Manager, Floyd Mbele, has rubbished reports Garratt is a Buccaneer.

“Ben who? When did he arrive here? No, there’s no one like that here at Pirates,” said Mbele.

Meanwhile, Pirates secured another point when have came from a goal down twice to salvage a 2-2 draw against Bloemfontein Celtic in a PSL match played at the Free State Stadium.
