According to KickOff, Sandilands agent confirmed that the 31-year-old will be seeking a new club in the current transfer window after having to warm the bench regularly.
Mickey Modisane, Pirates spokesperson, cooled speculation on whether the Buccaneers will shift their hands into luring the goalkeeper to Soweto.
“As far as I know, there has never been any talk about Sandilands,” said Modisane.
“Maybe you can talk to Floyd Mbele [Orlando Pirates administrative manager] for more clarity but he is not back in the office yet.
“I am aware that there are rumours linking us with Sandilands but this is just speculation. I cannot comment further on that issue because we cannot dignify speculation and rumours.”
