Cape Town - Vladimir Vermezonic has signed a three-year contract with Orlando
Pirates and takes over as head coach as soon as he gets his work permit,
the club said in a statement on Friday.
"I have unfinished
business in South Africa. Orlando Pirates, a giant in African football,
is offering me an opportunity to fulfil a dream of a lifetime. I am
grateful for the opportunity," Vermezonic said in the statement.

Vermezonic is from Serbia and played for and coached FK Partizan in Belgrade.
He had a brief spell with FC Spartak Trnava before joining Kaizer Chiefs for a three-year stint in 2009.
In May 2012, he returned to FK Partizan and once again became head coach.
"VV is not new to the South African conditions. His hunger and discipline is impressive," Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza said.

The club's assistant coach Eric Tinkler had stepped in as caretaker coach after Roger De Sa resigned unexpectedly in January.
Tinkler will remain at the club as assistant coach.
