Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse admits George Lebese is currently in top form following the winger's impressive performances in the early stages of the new campaign.
The 26-year-old has produced several eye-catching displays for Amakhosi this season, hitting the back of the net six times in seven fixtures.
Pieterse believes Lebese has the ability to win the PSL Player of this season award if he carries on in the same vein.
"I think George is doing really well for himself. He is working really hard at training and he is pushing himself to become a better player, to become a 90-minute player, and it is good for him," Pieterse was quoted as saying by Goal website.
"I do believe that he has what it takes to win the Player of the Season award. He has been doing well for the club, getting us goals, crucial and vital goals.
"So, I definitely believe that he has the talent and you know he is pushing and working hard on that."
Lebese joined Kaizer Chiefs from Vodacom League side Arcadia Shepherds in July 2008 and amassed over 100 appearances for the Soweto club since his debut against Maritzburg United on September 30, 2008.
