The defender made 14 first team appearances for the Buccaneers this season, all of them starts, keeping eight clean sheets.

Perennial big spenders Sundowns are reportedly interested in the player, while unspecified clubs from Turkey and Belgium are also said to be keen.

Meanwhile, the Buccaneers shift their focus to the CAF Confederations Cup as they face AS Kaloum on Saturday, June 6.

The second leg encounter is set to be played at Bidvest Wits Stadium with a 15:00 kick-off.

Pirates won the first leg 2-0 in Mali and look to secure their place in the group stages of the tournament.
