Cape Town - Free State Stars coach Kinnah Phiri is hoping his side's performances and results will improve once striker Moeketsi Sekola returns from injury.
Stars were on the receiving end of a 4-0 thumping against Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, with their top marksman conspicuios in his absence as Stars failed to shine in the attacking third of the pitch.
The 26-year-old Sekola, who topped the Premiership charts with 14 goals last season, has been sorely missed and may return against Ajax Cape Town on Wednesday.
"Also up-front the loss of our top scorer Sekola has given us a problem," Phiri told KickOff.
"We don't have stability and all the players up-front are new. Sthembiso Ngcobo has just come into the club and we didn't take him out against Chiefs because we don't have another top man to keep us going.
"I hope when players like Sekola return the situation will be better."
