Johannesburg - SuperSport United winger Thuso Phala is hoping for a positive outcome when they face Chippa United in the PSL.
Matsatsantsa welcome the Chilli Boys in their second home league match of the season at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Tuesday night, August 12.
As opposed to the home side, Chippa won their season opener following their 2-0 win over Platinum Stars at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
Matsatsantsa dropped three points against their former mentor’s team Bidvest Wits and this was certainly not a positive start for the Tshwane-based-side.
Chippa, who returned to top flight football after they got relegated two seasons (2012-13) ago, are highly motivated after bagging three points on the weekend.
“It is not good after giving away all the three points. It is important to start collecting points now because it is difficult playing a catch-up,” said the Matsatsantsa winger Thuso Phala to the clubs website.
“We created opportunities on Saturday but luck deserted us as we fluffed clear-cut chances. Hopefully we will get positive result come Tuesday night.”
Two seasons ago, the meeting between the two sides ended in a 2-2 draw in Cape Town and a 2-1 win to SuperSport at Lucas Moripe.
Kick-off is at 7:30.
