Phala: We will teach Palace the tsamaya

Cape Town - Thuso Phala says that he and his teammates intend to show off some South African skills when SuperSport United take on Crystal Palace in the Cape Town Cup this afternoon.

Phala admitted that it is always nice to bring out the tricks that are unique to the streets and playing fields of South Africa when facing international opposition.

“You know how it is, especially playing against international opposition, we always want to show what we can do as South Africans,” Phala said to Sport24.

“On the day, given the opportunity, hopefully we will be one or two goals up and show our South African skills.

“If the opportunity comes to do that we will!” he concluded.

Matsatsantsa play Palace at the Cape Town Stadium on Friday afternoon at 17:45.
