According to Soccer Laduma, the striker has struggled to find game time at the Parktown club since Vladimir Vermezovic took over after signing for Pirates in the 2013/14 season.
It has been revealed that the 27-year-old would be sent out for a loan spell in the January transfer window but will be released at the end of the season by Sea Robbers.
It has been reported that the Buccaneers technical team have confirmed that Pelembe has fallen out of contention having to vie against Kermit Erasmus, Lehlohonolo Majoro, Thamsanqa Gabuza and Lennox Bacela.
Pirates will look to avoid a third successive PSL defeat when they face Mamelodi Sundowns at Orlando Stadium.
The teams have met once already this season, with Bucs winning 3-0 away.
Kick-off is at 19:30 on Wednesday, December 10.
