Parker not crocked

Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs have been boosted by the news that the injury sustained by Bernard Parker is not as bad as initially feared.

According to football411.com website, it was suspected the Bafana Bafana striker could be sidelined for weeks with ankle ligament damage after limping out of the 1-1 draw with the University of Pretoria.

However, scans have indicated no such damage with the club even admitting he could feature in Tuesday night's Premier Soccer League clash with AmaZulu at the FNB Stadium.

The league's joint-leading goalscorer with Katlego Mashego (8), saw a doctor on Sunday morning with Chiefs physio Dave Milner revealing: "Parker (Bernard) saw the doctor on Sunday morning.

"The doctor was happy that there was no swelling. He should be available for selection on Tuesday."

Eric Mathoho is also available for selection after a blow to his knee in the first half of the same game, saw him emerge for the second half with heavy strapping.
