Parker living his Amakhosi dream

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs striker Bernard Parker admits that he is living his dream donning the colours of the Naturena club.

According to the Kaizer Chiefs website, Parker arrived at the Village in 2011 and has played in 152 official games for the club, scoring 40 goals.

Meanwhile, Parker’s contract has been extended until the end of June 2019 (1 July 2016-30 June 2019).

‘Hond’, as he is affectionately known, grew up an Amakhosi supporter and closely followed the career of Siyabonga Nomvete during the 2000/2001 season when the striker scored 18 times. Parker was 14-year-old at the time.

“It’s an awesome feeling to have extended my contract,” the striker explains.

“It’s an honour to be associated with the Kaizer Chiefs family. As a Kaizer Chiefs supporter and, currently, a player - I am living my dream!”
