Papy: The injury motivated me

Cape Town - Bidvest Wits midfielder Faty Papy missed most of last season due to injury but has now recovered and looks to have rediscovered his form.

Papy made just ten appearances last season in the PSL, after three seasons before that where he played in almost 90% of the games for Wits.

The Burundian said that he was motivated to work hard after recovering from the injury and that has shown in his form in the new season.

"I was motivated to work hard when I was injured," Papy observed.

"I wanted to recover and come back from injury so that I can play again"

The 24-year-old said said the technical team and the doctors at the team pushed him to work hard and rediscover his form.

"The technical team and the team doctors helped me a lot.

"It's their efforts that made me bounce back the way I have done.

"I am happy that I am playing again."
