Cape Town - Polokwane City striker Puleng Tlolane has cited coach Kosta Papic's influence as the reason behind his and the team’s outstanding form.
Rise and Shine currently occupy a top-eight spot, while Tloane sits in second position in the Premier Soccer League's scoring charts with 10 goals to his name.
The 24-year-old has also received national team recognition, having recently made his Bafana Bafana debut against Ivory Coast.
"I think it was has been my best season, because I've been more consistent in terms of scoring goals," Tlolane told Goal.
"On top of that I even got a national call-up. But credit must go to teamwork, because we've been working hard as a team," he continued.
"I think the change in coaches has helped us. Papic made positive changes when he came in. So the team is also enjoying it's best season."
Polokwane City are in action this weekend, the Limpopo club hosting Free State Stars on Saturday.
