Papic confirms Nene swoop

Cape Town - Kosta Papic has confirmed that Polokwane City are set to sign Jabulani Nene from Chippa United.

According to KickOff, Papic reveals that Nene will be able to feature in Rise and Shine’s first PSL encounter of the year when they clash horns with Ajax Cape Town in the Mother City.

"He is going to sign a contract today and will be available for Wednesday’s match,” said Papic.

"He was training with us, and only today that we are going to finalize his paperwork of how long he will say for."

Papic, who coached at Chippa, admits that once he was aware that Nene was available he immediately “made action” to get the player at City.

Rise and Shine and Urban Warriors are set to play at Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday, February 11.

Game starts at 19:30.
