Palacios praises Bucs stars

Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates caretaker coach Augusto Palacios believes that they controlled the game in their 2-1 win over SuperSport United on Tuesday.

The Sea Robbers claimed an important three points which sent them three points clear thanks to a goal from Lucky Lekgwathi in the final minute of stoppage time.

"I think we controlled the game form the beginning. SuperSport tried to score the early goal because he put almost three attackers with the striker.

"We needed to be patient with the ball. Obviously after we scored, they equalised. But we continued fighting."

Palacios admitted that it was not their best performance, but was delighted to have come away with the spoils.

"We never looked composed, today(Tuesday) we was in a hurry. We played for Bheki (Nzunga) who was injured in Cape Town - we dedicate this game to him and our supporters.

"Thank you to God for the blessing he give to me today again in the last minute to win the game. Without him, I cannot coach."

When asked how he would approach their final two games, he said: "Game by game, we wait for the next one and then we wait for the next one."
