PSL salute Kaizer Motaung

Johannesburg - Acting Premier Soccer League CEO Cambridge Mokanyane has lauded the impact of Kaizer Motaung after he received an award from the Black Business Executive Circle.

According to the Football411.com website, the Kaizer Chiefs executive chairperson, who also serves in the PSL executive committee and chairs the PSL Finance Sub-committee, was handed the honour this week for his role in forming and developing Amakhosi into a global footballing brand.

"I would like to congratulate Motaung for his award," Mokanyane said in a press release.

"His story and contribution to South African football is well documented. There is no denying that football has contributed immensely to the socio-economic dynamics of this country.

"Motaung's role in this road has been remarkable. His story should continue to inspire young Africans to pursue their dreams. As the PSL family, we are very proud of what he has achieved."
