Cape Town - The Premier Soccer League has postponed Sunday's promotional playoff fixture between Chippa United and Thanda Royal Zulu after a complaint from Blackburn Rovers.
The PSL statement reads as follows:
"The League has received a complaint from Blackburn Rovers which may affect Chippa United’s participation in the PSL Playoff Tournament.
"The matter will be dealt with as speedily as possible, but in order to ensure that the tournament is not compromised by this process, the League has postponed Sunday’s fixture between Chippa United and Thanda Royal Zulu."
"As soon as the matter is resolved the fixtures will resume and will be played in the same order as defined in the Rules.
"New dates and times for the matches will be issued as soon as possible.
"The League will not comment further since the matter is sub judice."
