PSL name Lamola the month's best player

Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic striker Lerato Lamola has been named the league's best player for April/May.

After being named the month's best player on Thursday, Lamola told reporters: "I feel humbled and honoured to receive this award." 

The Bloemfontein Celtic striker has been in fine form over recent weeks, netting four goals for his side as well as registering two assists.

The striker is currently top of the PSL's scoring chart along with Moeketsi Sekola, of Free State Stars, with 13 goals this term.

Lamola walks away with the honour of being named April/May's best player plus the R5 000 prize money that goes along with it.
