PSL in the market for a CEO

Johannesburg - The Premier Soccer League are in the market for a new CEO but the candidate will have to meet strict criteria.

Kjetil Siem is the incumbent but his contract's forthcoming expiration means he will leave the PSL at the end of the current season.

The chairperson of the league, Irvin Khoza, revealed the candidate will have to boast a specific profile to fit the bill.

"His [Siem's] contract has been extended until December and he will stay with the PSL until the end of the season. But we are still clear on finding a CEO who is black, coloured or Indian," said The Iron Duke.

"We want someone with marketing flair and many talents."

Kaizer Motaung, Mato Madlala and John Comitis, who own Kaizer Chiefs, Golden Arrows and Ajax Cape Town will sit on the panel that is tasked with finding Siem's replacement.
