PSL giants join Rivaldo hunt

Cape Town - Reports surfacing suggest that THREE PSL GIANTS are willing to break the bank for the services of Ajax Cape Town defender Rivaldo Coetzee.

As it happened: Ajax CT v Kaizer Chiefs

According to Soccer Laduma, after Coetzee’s sterling performance for Bafana Bafana in back-to-back AFCON qualifiers against Congo, Absa Premiership clubs have joined Ajax Amsterdam in the chase to sign the 18-year-old.

It is revealed that Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are willing to table an offer for the youngster in order for him to be in their ranks.

However, Amsterdam are keen to bring the defender back to the Sportpark De Toekomst training ground following short stints with Netherlands franchise.

It is reported that the club will offer the player a long extended trial in order to make his break on the international scene.

Bennedict McCarthy, Steven Pienaar and Thulani Serero are among the biggest names to have made the switch via Ajax Cape Town to the Amsterdam club.

Coetzee, however, is still on a low income contract with the Urban Warriors with having only recently broken into the senior squad team.

Who do you think Rivaldo Coetzee should sign for to further his career or should he stay with Ajax Cape Town?
