PSL disciplinary update

Cape Town - The PSL have released a statement on cases which will be heard by the PSL Disciplinary Committee next week.

Roger De Sa and Ajax Cape Town:

"Mr. De Sa and Ajax Cape Town have been charged with insulting a match official. This is after Mr. De Sa allegedly insulted match official, Mr Robert Smith during Ajax Cape Town’s league fixture against Mamelodi Sundowns on 20 December 2014 at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. The club and Mr. De Sa are scheduled to appear on 10 February 2015."

Trot Moloto and Mamelodi Sundowns:

"Mr. Moloto and Mamelodi Sundowns face charges relating to insulting a match official. Mr. Moloto is alleged to have insulted match official, Mr Robert Smith during Mamelodi Sundowns league fixture against Ajax Cape Town at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on 20 December 2014. The club and Mr. Moloto are scheduled to appear on 10 February 2015."

Leslie Grobelaar and Highlands Park:

"Mr. Grobelaar and Highlands Park face charges relating to insulting a match official, Mr. Cedric Muvhali during Highlands Park’s NFD fixture against Vasco da Gam on 09 December 2014 at the Makhulong Stadium.

In addition, the club is charged with contravening Rule 8.9.10 after they failed to procure the services of a team doctor in their fixture against Vasco da Gama on 09 December 2014 at the Makhulong Stadium.

The club and the Mr Globelaar are scheduled to appear before the PSL DC on 12 February 2015."

Platinum Stars

"The club has been charged with contravening the PSL Safety and Security Manual for failing to appoint a club Safety and Security Officer as recommended by Judge Ngoepe Commission. The club is scheduled to appear before the PSL DC on 12 February 2015."
