Johannesburg - The Premier Soccer League's (PSL) disciplinary committee on Monday cleared Chippa United of charges related to fielding an improperly registered player.
Chippa United's promotion/relegation playoff match against Santos was postponed indefinitely after Blackburn Rovers levelled the charges against the club.
The PSL said in a media statement that Blackburn have indicated that they would appeal the ruling.
"Both parties have agreed to take the matter directly to arbitration," the PSL said in the statement.
"The PSL will advise on the date of arbitration."
