Free State Stars were scheduled to begin the new campaign against SuperSport United at the Charles Mopeli Stadium on Saturday, but heavy snow in Phuthaditjhaba has forced the tie to be moved to Goble Park in Bethlehem.
The news comes as a big blow to Stars, who were set to move back to Phuthaditjhaba following a two-year absence due to financial constraints, but the home-coming champagne will have to be put on ice.
The decision was made early on Thursday after the PSL had ordered a pitch inspection, although Dikwena are expected to return to the Charles Mopeli Stadium when they host Black Leopards on August 24.
