The PSL observed a moment of silence over the weekend during the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals, National First Division and also MultiChoice Diski Challenge fixtures in respect of the late Lolo, who passed away on Sunday, October 25.

"It was with sadness that we learnt about Cecil Lolo’s death," said de Villiers.

"He was such an amazing young talent and was amongst the key members of the youthful Ajax Cape Town side that has earned many rave reviews thanks to their sterling performances towards the end of last season and earlier this season.

"On behalf of the PSL family, we would like to convey our condolences to Cecil’s family in Cape Town, his friends and the Ajax Cape Town family.”
