According to Ajax official website, the management of Wolfsburg were set to train at Ikamva for the coming week, however, following the tragic death of Belgian midfielder Junior Malanda, the team arrived one day later than scheduled and decided to conduct their pre-season at Athlone Stadium.

Although their training sessions were initially due to be behind closed doors in an attempt for the players to remain focused on their main goal, the management of Wolfsburg have decided that their players are ready to take part of an open training session.

The match is scheduled to take place at 19:00 on Wednesday at Cape Town Stadium, with National First Division sides Vasco Da Gama and Santos playing at 16:00 as the curtain raiser.
