Okwuosa admitted both the management and the players at Chippa United were at
fault for their poor showing in the Absa Premiership this season.

The club survived relegation by the skin of the teeth on the
final day of league action, despite a 2-0 loss to champions Kaizer Chiefs.
Chippa finished 14th and only avoided being dragged into the
promotion-relegation play-off series by virtue of having a better goal
difference than Moroka Swallows.
Okwuosa risked the wrath of both the club's management and
