Nyondo: First game is important

Cape Town - University of Pretoria will face their Tshwane opponents Mamelodi Sundowns in the first semi-final of the Charity Showdown tournament on Sunday morning at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. 

Tuks striker Atusaye Nyondo says they want to win the tournament which also features Jomo Cosmos and Ajax Cape Town. 

He told Sport24 that for them to do that they know that the first game is important and that they have to beat the Brazilians. 

"The first game is important," the Malawian international said. 

“We have to make sure we win the first game. We know what to expect from Sundowns and we are ready for that. 

“We just have to name sure that we don't put ourselves under pressure then everything will be okay and we can win the game and proceed to the final.”
