Nyauza confident of future call-ups

Cape Town - Ntsikelelo Nyauza was pulled out of the Bafana Bafana squad by Orlando Pirates due to a packed club schedule but he insists that he is not too disappointed as he is confident of future call-ups.

The 25-year-old defender spoke to Sport24 about the situation.

“The club pulled me out because there are more games coming up and it’s a bit hectic,” he said.

“Matlaba and I have to focus on the CAF, we’ve also got cup games and the league coming up so it is what it is.”

Nyauza knows that if he is able to maintain his current form then another Bafana Bafana call-up won’t be too far away.

“There’s always another chance [to play for Bafana], I don’t take it as a disappointment.”

Bafana Bafana take on Mauritius at 13:30 (SA time) tomorrow while Pirates play against Zamalek in the CAF Confed Cup the following Saturday, July 11, at 15:00.
