The defender, who was preferred ahead of Happy Jele last Sunday in Milpark, says he is determined to build on his impressive display against Bidvest Wits.
“It was tough to play against Wits,” said the 23-year-old speaking to the club's website, after Pirates' 2-0 MTN8 first leg, semi-final win.
“We had the responsibility of winning that match no matter what, so, you can understand why we were nervous in the first half.”
“Now we have a league match that we have to win. I personally feel good - if given a chance again tonight, I will try my best to help the team.”
“I have been getting a lot of support from Siyabonga Sangweni and Lucky Legkwathi. They have been around for longer and I’m benefitting a lot from them.”
“I can only get better playing with such experienced players,” concluded Nyauza.
The Buccaneers and AmaZulu kick off their clash at 19:30 on Wednesday, August 20.
