Nyandoro mum on future plans

Cape Town - Former Mamelodi Sundowns captain, Esrom Nyandoro, has promised to reveal his future plans in due course despite denying reports that he has called it a day on his long playing career.

The Zimbabwean, who has been in the books of the Brazilians since the 2003/04 season told Sport24 that he will soon unveil his plans, but is not yet ready to announce whether he has retired on not.

“Look, the news that I have retired remain just speculation, but I will make an announcement about my career in due time,” Nyandoro said.

“I cannot talk about it now.”

However, reports have said that the former midfielder is being offered a position within the administration of the Chloorkop based side after long years of service.

The 35-year old was among noticeable absentees when Sundowns began their pre-season late in June and has not featured in the clubs pre-season matches.
