Cape Town - Thandani Ntshumayelo says playing alongside Senegalese National Issa Sarr is a privilege.

The hard -working anchor-man who has been a cog in Orlando Pirates’ engine-room this season, is relishing the prospect to partner up with the highly rated Senegalese when the Buccaneers welcome AmaZulu to Orlando on Wednesday.

“Sarr is class,” explains Ntshumayelo on the clubs website.

“It is very easy to play next to him. He gives you 100% and if your man has left you, Sarr will try very hard to give you cover.”

“He was brought here for that. He really plays simple; it has been a real privilege to play alongside him.”

“Now I know I have to focus on getting the ball to the guys up front and I don’t have to worry because Sarr will do a good job if I go forward.”

“It is easy (to play with Sarr) for the whole team - the guys upfront just have to focus on doing their job in front - they have enough confidence to score goals and that is positive.

“We can now see that we are becoming a great unit, which is good because we have big dreams for this season.”

Bucs and AmaZulu will play at 19:30 on Wednesday, August 20.
