Cape Town - Zeca Marques left Black Leopards to sign with Santos last week but the coach still thinks that his former star player, Siphelele Ntshangase, will stay at the Limpopo-based team.
Ntshangase has been the focus of a lot of speculation around a move to a big PSL club since the end of last season.
While Marques was still in charge in Thohoyandou he insisted that the club would not sell the striker and as far as he is concerned the situation has not changed after his departure.
Marques does, however, recognise that anything could still happen before the end of the transfer window.
“I know the chairman wants him to stay, that’s the last I have heard,” Marques told Sport24.
“But it is football and the market is still open, so it is early days and things can change from one day to another.
“But as I understand Ntshangase is there to stay for now."
