Ntombela praise Sundowns' ambition

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns technical director, Mike Ntombela, believes the Brazilians have built a strong squad able to compete for this season's Premiership title.

Sundowns beat University of Pretoria 2-0 on Sunday at the Lucas Moripe Stadium to qualify for the final of the Etv Charity Showdown tournament where they will meet Ajax Cape Town.

Ntombela was particularly pleased with how much new signings Keagan Dolly and Mokgagoludi Ngele have improved the squad ahead of the new season.

Pitso Mosimane's side will take part in the Etv Charity Showdown tournament this morning at Lucas Moripe Stadium, where they will start the tournament against University of Pretoria.

"We have had two camps already one in Nelspruit and one in Zambia and they have both been great," Ntombela told Soccer Laduma.

"We haven't really signed many players but the two we have signed in Ngele and Dolly are a great addition to the team.

"We are building a strong team for this coming season and you have to watch out. We are keeping almost the whole team from last season so it will be a well balanced side."
