Johannesburg - Moroka Swallows' golden boy Siyabonga Nomvethe is confident the
team has the ability to pip Orlando Pirates to the PSL title this
season.

Nomvethe has been a revelation for the Dube Birds this term, with
his brace in Friday night's 5-2 victory over Black Leopards taking the
striker to 18 Premiership goals for the campaign.
The win was also enough to hoist the Soweto giants to second in
the standings, two points behind the Buccaneers with just two games
remaining.
"Swallows are still in the running and have a pretty good chance," Bhele, as he is affectionately known, told The Sowetan.
"We deserve to be in the race for the league title."
Swallows' bid for the PSL title may be something that is out of
their own hands, given the fact they will need Pirates to slip up in
order to overtake them at the top. But Nomvethe says the team remain
focused solely on their own final two matches of the season.
"We are not worried about what Pirates or Sundowns are doing," he
added. "We are left with two games against Platinum Stars and
Maritzburg United to complete the league season. Our aim is to win both
to intensify our challenge.
"This has been an incredible season for us."
