Nomandela not panicking yet

Cape Town - New Mamelodi Sundowns signing Luyolo Nomandela is not overly concerned by his complete lack of game time this season, according to his agent Tim Sukazi.

The midfielder joined the Brazilians from Free State Stars at the beginning of the campaign, but has struggled to impress coach Pitso Mosimane and is yet to make his debut for the Chloorkop giants.

Sukazi, though, insists his client is not fretting just yet, and remains confident he will soon get his chance to shine.

"Nomandela is in the same situation as Tlou (Segolela), but we have to understand that this is his first season at Sundowns and he needs time to get used to how the team plays. So, this move was not a step back to his career," Sukazi said.

"If you remember very well, this time last season, the likes of Elias Pelembe and Lebohang Mokoena were not playing, but things changed in the second half of the season and Sundowns won the league.

"So, it's too early to panic or anything like that because the season has just started and he can still get his chance during the second half of the season and again in the CAF Champions League."
