No training for Pirates squad

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates players have been given time off from training following the murder of their captain and goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.

 report that training has been made non-mandatory following the shock death of captain and goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.

While training during this incredibly tough time is not compulsory, the club's technical staff will be available to those players still wanting to train. 

The Sea Robbers were scheduled to play in the Soweto Derby this weekend but in light of the tragedy, the fixture has been postponed. (Read that story HERE!)

Orlando Pirates are offering their squad counselling as they seek help in dealing with the traumatic loss of their captain.

At this stage, the club have not asked the PSL to postpone Tuesday's PSL clash away at  Platinum Stars.
