Cape Town - Following Lucky Lekgwathi’s absence in the team in recent matches, Orlando Pirates head coach Roger de Sa said the longest serving player in the Bucs ship must work his way back to the starting line-up.
Lekgwathi, 37, last featured for the Happy People against Al Ahly of Egypt on September 22.
He has since also made controversial revelations about sinister forces in the team intending to end his career.
Ahead of the much anticipated Soweto derby against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday, the former Wits mentor said there are no special treatments at the club.
In an interview with the Kick-Off website, De SA said Lekgwathi is a player just like everyone else - and will be treated as such.
He said Lekgwathi must "still show it at training like everyone else" that he wants to play in the team again.
The game will be played at the FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Kick-off is scheduled for 15:30.
