The former Bloemfontein Celtic wide-man has made just two appearances for the Buccaneers this season, and was omitted from their 25-man CAF Confederation Cup squad.

The 26-year-old Segolela still has 18 months left on his contract, and according to his agent Tim Sukazi, the player is unlikely to leave the club, at least before the end of the current season.

"I don't know why there are questions about Tlou's future because he's still a Pirates player," Sukazi told the goal.com.

"As you may know he signed a three-year contract in 2013.

“Yes, there was interest from [Mpumalanga Black] Aces then, but there isn't now," he added.
