Johannesburg - Knowledge Musona was a notable absentee from the starting lineup for Kaizer Chiefs in their MTN8 Cup semi-final first leg against Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Musona found himself on the bench as coach Stuart Baxter went with just Bernard Parker upfront.

In the Pirates lineup, Kermit Erasmus also did not make the starting lineup.

Buccaneers coach Roger de Sa decided on two strikers with Lennox Bacela and Sifiso Myeni playing a dual role in attack.
