Cape Town - Anthony Laffor's agent has rubbished claims there is a two-year
option in his current Mamelodi Sundowns contract, claiming his client is
free to speak to any potential suitors.
READ: Sundowns must 'work hard'.
Reports last week suggested the Brazilians were poised to activate a 24-month extension in the Liberia international's deal, which would keep him in Chloorkop until 2017.
However, the forward's representative, Steve Kapeluschnik, insists there is no truth to those claims, although he admits Laffor is currently more than happy with his situation at Sundowns.
"I don't know where they get it that Laffor has an option on his contract at Sundowns. His contract expires at the end of the season," Kapeluschnik is quoted as saying by Kick Off.
"He is happy at Sundowns and at this moment any team interested in him must speak to the club."
