Cape Town - Former Sundowns winger Joel Masilela believes striker Mogakolodi Ngele should be a regular feature in the team's starting line-up this season.
Ngele struggled to break into the first team since moving from Platinum Stars at the beginning of the season and, while admitting there is a lot of competition for places, Masilela is convinced the Botswana international should be playing more regularly.
"It's all about tactics. Tactically, they must use Ngele more offensively but at the same time you've got Zungu, Kekana and Dolly," Masilela told Goal website.
"They are all good players to me, they can all give the team something on the day,"
"But honestly speaking, Ngele is the player they need to use more to attack and get more goals and get behind the defenders.
"You need him for that specifically because he is very deadly in the 18-yard box. He is very deadly in that area.
"He can bang in goals from any angle in that area and with free-kicks also near the edge of the box."
Ngele showed his potential with a fantastic showing in the Brazilians' 6-1 thrashing of Free State Stars in the Telkom Knockout last weekend, scoring the opener and providing assists for two more goals later on.
Meanwhile, Sundowns will host Mariztburg United in an Absa Premiership fixture on Saturday, October 31 at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Kick-off is at 20:15.
