The Liberia international joined Sundowns from SuperSport United during the January transfer window, and Neeskens has hinted the attacking midfielder may be ready to make his debut when Sundowns resume their onslaught on the PSL title on February 15.
"I like his attitude towards the game and maybe he would be ready to play for us when we play Amazulu, but we will make a decision closer to the time," Neeskens told Football365.co.za.
The Brazilians, current PSL leaders, have a tricky away fixture coming up against 10th-placed Amazulu next Wednesday, and Neeskens believes Laffor could play a pivotal role in Sundowns' league title run-in.
"I think he is going to play a very important role in the team, but the fans must give him time to settle before they expect a lot from him," the Dutchman said.
"So far I'm satisfied with the way he is performing at training and we will see whether he is ready when we play our league game next week.
"We have to respect every opponent, but also we have to realise the importance of collecting points now," Neeskens concluded.
