Sundowns 'should have won'

Johannesburg - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Johan Neeskens believes that his side should have beaten Bloemfontein Celtic by at least three goals.

Instead the Dutchman watched his team fail to convert any of their chances as the game ended goalless and allowed Orlando Pirates to cut their lead at the top to just two points.

Neeskens admits that their poor performance in front of goal was costly but says that they must simply soldier on as they look to remain at the summit.

"A draw, but I think if there was one team which should have win this games then it was our team because we tried to play attacking football," he said.

"We created especially in the first-half three big opportunities, but you don't score.

"At the end it is a draw, but you should win this game with three goals difference. But that is football, if you don't kill the team then because they were very defensively, they make it difficult to play.

"Still, we created four or five 100 percent chances but you don't score - but we will go on to our next game."
