Ndoro praises Barker's tactics

Cape Town - Striker Tendai Ndoro has praised the tactics of Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Clive Barker following his team’s goalless draw against Mamelodi Sundowns last night.

Ndoro, who played 73 minutes for Aces before being substituted for Mabhuti Khenyeza, said Aces' performance showed that they can match any team in the top-flight.

“We actually could have won that match. That is how close it was,” Ndoro told KickOff.com website.

“We were playing against the defending champions so we are very happy with the draw. It is interesting that a number of people were already writing us off before the match but we matched our opponents in all departments.

“Much of the credit must go to the coach, who is very experienced. His tactics are effective and he knows how to analyse our opponents.

“The most encouraging thing about our coach is that he believes in us and always knows how to motivate us,” explains Ndoro.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
