Ndoro eager to score goals

Cape Town - New Orlando Pirates striker Tendai Ndoro aims to score as many goals as he can in order to help the Soweto giants win more trophies.

The Zimbabwean scored the winning penalty to hand Pirates a 4-3 win in penalty shootout following a 1-1 stalemate in the Carling Black Label Cup.

The former Mpumalanga Black Aces forward said he was very excited to be part of the Soweto derby.

“It feels great to be on the winning side in my first Soweto derby and I hope to taste more success with Pirates,” Ndoro said.

“I wanted to play this game badly and I’m glad I got the chance and will be working on scoring more goals to help Pirates win more trophies.”

Ndoro joined Pirates in the off season after impressing at Aces, who he joined in January 2014.

He scored seven league goals in the 2013/14 season with Aces, and followed up with the same tally in 2014/15.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
