Cape Town - New Maritzburg United coach Mandla Ncikazi tells Sport24 that they want to go out and beat Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN8.

Maritzburg are playing in the MTN8 for the first time, and they are set to play defending champions Chiefs, who are of course coached by former United coach Steve Komphela.

Ncikazi agreed that it won't be easy because they are playing against the defending champions.

"Chiefs is one of the best teams in Africa and it's always great playing against them," Ncikazi explained.

"I know we beat them last season in the league and we can do if again this time in the MTN 8.

"I know coach Steve but there is something that he doesn't know about me, and I hope to just pull out that trick on August 5th when we play against them, and beat them."
