Naicker: I am ready to perform

Cape Town - Jomo Cosmos goalkeeper, Sherwin Naicker, is excited to get the chance to prove his quality on the highest stage of South African football.

Naicker helped the Ezenkosi reach the PSL with some good performances during the playoffs.

"I am trying to keep the level of my performances where it was during the playoffs or hopefully even improve," Naicker told Sport24.

"With the team that we are going into the Premier League with I will get a bit of action because I don’t think it is a very experienced team so we will make mistakes here and there.

"Hopefully when I am called upon I will show what I can do," he concluded.

Naicker pulled off a couple of good save in their Etv Charity Showdown game against Ajax Cape Town on the weekend but could do little to prevent his side losing 2-0.
