Mzava future up in the air

Cape Town - Football agent Walter Mokoena said that his client Limbikani Mzava was uncertain about his future at Bloemfontein Celtic, despite him making seven appearances in the Premiership this season.

The 21-year-old defender’s contract at the club is expected to expire at the end of the season but at this juncture there appear to be no agreements between the two parties in this regard, which was confirmed by Mokoena on Monday.

"We haven’t had any agreement with the club but at this stage we don’t know if he’ll be staying," Mokoena told KickOff.

"He has a lot of offers, he is a good player and he is an international player. There has been a lot of offers but for now he’s concentrating on his contract which is set to expire at the end of the season.

"So we’ll wait until the end of the season, then we’ll take it from there," added Mokoena.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
