Cape Town - Sifiso Myeni will be looking to build on his Man of the Match performance when Orlando Pirates take on University of Pretoria on Wednesday evening.

Myeni, who netted the winner in Pirates' come-from-behind victory over SuperSport United at the weekend, said: "It was important for us to win.”

“I mean we can’t lose to the same team twice - it simply wouldn't go down well with us and our supporters. Everybody pulled up their socks."

The attacking midfielder further revealed to Pirates website that the win over Matsatsantsa must be the beginning of a winning run.

"The fighting spirit we displayed against SuperSport United is something we must take into our remaining matches.

"We have a couple of matches between now and the end of the year.

“We need to collect as many points as possible to make sure we are in a position to make a challenge for the title."

Sport24 will have LIVE scoring and interactive commentary from the PSL clash between the University of Pretoria and Orlando Pirates.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
