Musona will talk on the field

Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs striker Knowledge Musona has vowed to do his talking on the pitch amid increasing doubts as to whether he will be able to replicate the form that saw him secure a contract in the Bundesliga two seasons ago.

Kaizer Chiefs' official website reports that Musona, speaking at the club's first official media conference ahead of the 2013/14 season, felt right back at home since re-joining the Phefeni Glamour Boys.

"I had a great time the last time I played here between 2009 and 2011," he said.

The fans and everyone associated with the gold and black made me feel welcome," said the player dubbed " the smiling assassin".

"I am looking forward to playing with my teammates again.

"I do not have much to say. I will do my talking on the pitch," he added.

Musona was officially unveiled to media and posed in front of cameras and was presented with the number 11 jersey.

He will be in action for the first time in the Gauteng Football Cup when Amakhosi take on the winners between Bloemfontein Celtic and University of Pretoria on Sunday, July 21.

Celtic and TUKS play at 10:00.

Musona played his last game for Amakhosi in the Vodacom Challenge against Tottenham Hotspur in Polokwane in July 2011 before he left to join Bundesliga club, 1899 Hoffenheim.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
